Delivery and timing

Can you deliver a porta potty today?

Same-day porta potty delivery is available in Alamogordo and nearby towns. Call (575) 215-2324 as early in the day as you can so the unit can go on that day's route. A same-day rush fee applies, and the full price is quoted on the phone before you book.

How far ahead should I book a porta potty?

Booking two or more days ahead avoids rush fees and gives the widest choice of units. Wedding season, fall festival weekends and holiday weekends fill first, so book those two to four weeks out. Deluxe flushing units, wheelchair-accessible units and restroom trailers are limited, so reserve them as early as possible.

My event is on Saturday. When will the porta potty arrive and leave?

Weekend event units are usually delivered Thursday or Friday and picked up Monday. The extra days cost nothing; the event price is a flat rate. If Monday is a holiday, pickup moves to Tuesday.

Can you deliver the morning of my event?

Morning-of delivery is possible but not recommended, because a late truck would leave guests without a restroom. Delivery the day before is the safer plan, and it costs the same.

What time will the driver arrive?

Deliveries run in a daytime window, and the driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving. You can ask for a morning or afternoon delivery when you book, and the request goes on the work order.

Do I need to be there for delivery or pickup?

Nobody has to be home for delivery or pickup. Give clear placement notes, unlock gates and keep your phone on so the driver can call with questions. Many customers mark the spot with a cone, flag or chalk X.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Deliveries and pickups run Monday through Saturday. Sunday is off, so Sunday events get their unit on Friday or Saturday and pickup on Monday.

Do you deliver to rural property without a street address?

Ranch land, cabins and new lots without an address are fine. Text a map pin or GPS coordinates with the request, plus notes on gates and road conditions. Distance from Alamogordo sets the delivery fee.

Can you deliver several units to different job sites?

Several sites can be booked at once. Each address is its own order with its own delivery, because the driver and servicing route treat each stop separately.

Can I change my delivery date after booking?

Delivery dates can be moved by calling or texting with your order details. Changes made more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery are free.

Can I pick up the porta potty myself to save money?

Customer pickup is not offered. Units are hauled on purpose-built trucks and trailers, and our insurance covers only our own drivers moving them.

Pricing and fees

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty in Alamogordo?

A standard porta potty for a one-day or weekend event starts at about $199 inside Alamogordo, delivery and pickup included. A construction unit starts at about $189 per 28 days with weekly service, plus a one-time delivery fee. Distance, unit type and rush timing change the price, and every quote is itemized.

What is included in the price?

The quoted price includes the unit, delivery, setup, pickup and supplies: toilet paper and hand sanitizer, plus soap and paper towels in sink units. Rentals of 28 days include weekly pump-out, cleaning and restocking. Sales tax is added on the quote so the total is known before you pay.

Are there hidden fees like fuel surcharges?

No surprise fuel surcharges or card convenience fees are added after you book. Every charge that applies to your order, such as delivery, a rush fee or sales tax, is listed on the itemized quote before you pay.

Is a porta potty priced per day or per hour?

Porta potties are not priced by the hour or day. Events pay one flat rate that covers delivery through pickup, and longer rentals bill in 28-day cycles. A four-hour party costs the same as a full weekend.

How much is a monthly porta potty for a construction site?

A standard jobsite porta potty starts at about $189 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time delivery and pickup fee that starts around $49 in Alamogordo. Mountain and remote towns cost more to reach. Adding a sink or handwashing station raises the cycle price.

What does a same-day delivery cost?

A same-day rush fee is added to the normal rental price. The fee depends on distance and how full that day's route already is, and it is quoted on the phone before you agree to anything.

How much is a handwashing station?

A standalone handwashing station starts at about $175 for an event. It has two foot-pump sinks, soap and paper towels. Adding one beside a standard unit is often cheaper than upgrading to a deluxe unit.

How much is a deluxe flushing porta potty?

A deluxe flushing unit with an inside sink starts at about $375 for an event, delivery included. The price is higher because each deluxe unit is cleaned, refilled with fresh water and restocked before it leaves the yard.

How much is a wheelchair-accessible porta potty?

A wheelchair-accessible unit starts at about $325 for an event, or about $299 per 28 days on a jobsite with weekly service. Stock is limited, so book these at least a week ahead.

How much does a restroom trailer cost?

Restroom trailers start at about $1,500 per event, and two-stall trailers usually run $1,800 to $2,500 depending on distance and dates. The trailer needs a standard outdoor outlet and a garden hose; a generator or water tank can be added.

Why do porta potty quotes vary so much?

Quotes vary because some companies leave delivery, pickup, fuel or service out of the first number. Compare the total for the same unit, the same dates and the same address. Our quotes list each charge so the comparison is fair.

Do you give discounts for several units?

Orders of several units to one address share a single delivery fee, so each extra unit costs less than the first. Ask about volume pricing for festivals, races and multi-month jobs.

Do nonprofits, churches and schools pay sales tax?

Tax-exempt organizations can email their New Mexico nontaxable transaction certificate before booking, and the tax is removed from the invoice.

Will the price go up if I wait to book?

Prices can change with demand close to busy weekends, and a unit is only held once the order is paid. The quote you receive states how long that price is good for.

Units and features

Which porta potty do I need?

A standard unit fits jobsites, backyard parties and most events. A deluxe flushing unit adds a sink and flush for weddings and dressy events. Choose a wheelchair-accessible unit for guests who use a wheelchair or walker, and a restroom trailer when you want a real bathroom feel.

What is inside a standard porta potty?

A standard porta potty has a toilet seat over a holding tank, a urinal, a toilet paper holder with spare rolls, a hand sanitizer dispenser, a vent stack and a door that locks from inside with an occupied sign.

Do your porta potties have a sink?

Standard porta potties do not have a sink; they have hand sanitizer. Deluxe units have a foot-pump sink inside with soap and paper towels. A separate handwashing station can be placed next to any unit.

Do the units flush?

Deluxe units flush using a fresh-water tank, and restroom trailers flush like a home toilet. Standard units do not flush; waste drops into a deodorized holding tank.

Are the event units the same ones used on construction sites?

Event units are kept apart from the jobsite fleet. They are the newest and cleanest units, washed inside and out before each delivery.

How many people can one porta potty serve?

One standard porta potty serves about 50 guests at an event lasting up to four hours. Longer events, alcohol and lots of children push that number down. Use the sizing calculator for an exact count.

Is a wheelchair-accessible unit the same as an ADA unit?

People often call it an ADA unit. The accessible unit is a ground-level cabin with a wide door, grab bars and room to turn a wheelchair. Ask the venue or permit office whether your event needs a specific number of them.

Can men and women both use a standard unit?

Any person can use a standard unit. It has both a toilet seat and a urinal. Restroom trailers can be signed men and women or left unsigned.

Can I get a unit with a lock for my jobsite?

Units lock from inside, and a hasp for an outside padlock can be added on request for jobsites that close overnight.

What color are the units?

Most standard units are blue or gray. Color is not guaranteed because units rotate through cleaning, but event units are always clean and matching where stock allows.

Do you sell porta potties?

Units are rented only, not sold. Long-term rentals with weekly service usually cost less than owning, cleaning and pumping your own.

Do you pump out RVs or porta potties I already own?

Pump-outs for customer-owned units and RV holding tanks are available on scheduled route days. Call with the tank size and location for a price.

Cleaning and servicing

How often is a rented porta potty cleaned?

Long-term porta potties are serviced once a week, included in the 28-day price. Busy jobsites, ranch crews and multi-day events can add extra service days.

What happens during a porta potty service visit?

Each service visit includes pumping the holding tank, scrubbing the seat, urinal, floor and walls, recharging the tank with deodorizer, and restocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Sink units also get fresh water, soap and paper towels.

Are event porta potties cleaned during the event?

Event units arrive cleaned and fully stocked, and one-day events usually need nothing more. Multi-day events and festivals can book attendant service or a mid-event pump-out.

Can I get service every other week to save money?

Weekly service is the standard because waste and odor build fast in New Mexico heat. Very light-use sites can ask about a reduced schedule, and the dispatcher will tell you whether it will work.

What if the porta potty is full before the next service?

Call or text (575) 215-2324 and ask for an extra service visit. Extra visits are added to the next route and billed at a flat per-visit price.

How do you keep porta potties from smelling in the summer heat?

The holding tank is charged with deodorizer on every service, and the roof vent stack pulls air up and out. Placing the unit in shade and sticking to weekly service keeps odor down when Alamogordo highs climb past 95°F.

Placement and access

Where should the porta potty go?

Put the unit on firm, level ground the delivery truck can reach, ideally within a few feet of a driveway or road. Keep it away from doorways, windows and septic leach fields, and close enough that guests or workers will use it.

Can the porta potty go on grass or in a backyard?

Grass and backyards are fine when the ground is level and there is a path at least 4 feet wide. The driver can roll a unit a short distance on a dolly where the truck cannot drive.

Will a porta potty fit through my gate?

A standard unit is about 44 inches wide, so a gate needs about 4 feet of clear width. Wheelchair-accessible units are much larger, around 5 to 7 feet wide, and usually need truck access.

What do I need to tell the driver about my site?

Tell the driver about gate codes, locked gates, dogs, low wires, narrow or dirt roads and the exact placement spot. An on-site contact phone number helps if the driver has a question.

Do I need a permit for a porta potty?

A porta potty on your own private property usually needs no permit. Placing one on a street, sidewalk, public park or event venue may need permission from the city, park or venue. Confirm with the property owner or permit office before delivery.

How do you keep porta potties from blowing over in the wind?

Units on open lots can be staked or strapped down, which is common during spring wind season in the Tularosa Basin. Ask for tie-downs when you book, and place units on the sheltered side of buildings where possible.

Who is responsible for the porta potty while it is on my property?

The renter is responsible for the unit while it is on site, including vandalism, fire and theft. Normal wear is never charged. A lock hasp helps on sites left empty overnight.

Booking, payment and contracts

How do I book a porta potty?

Call or text (575) 215-2324 with your ZIP code, dates, unit type and head count. You get an itemized quote, then a short e-signature order by text or email, and the unit is reserved once it is paid.

Do you need a deposit?

There is no separate deposit. The first rental period, or the full event price, is paid at booking, which reserves the unit.

What payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit or debit cards are accepted by phone or through a secure payment link. Long-term rentals can keep a card on file for the 28-day billing.

Can I get a written quote before I pay?

Quotes are sent by text or email and show the unit, dates, delivery, pickup, service and tax. Nothing is charged until you approve and sign the order.

Can the billing address be different from the delivery address?

Billing and delivery addresses can differ. Many renters pay for a unit placed at a relative's home, a church or a client's jobsite.

Can I add or remove units after booking?

Units can be added or removed by calling before delivery. Units going to the same address share one delivery fee, so adding a unit only adds the unit price.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, the delivery fee is kept because the truck and unit are already committed. Full terms are on the rental terms page.

Is there a contract for long-term rentals?

Long-term rentals have no fixed end date. They bill every 28 days until you call or text for pickup, so you can keep a unit two weeks or two years.

Pickup and extensions

How do I schedule a pickup?

Event pickups are scheduled automatically for the next business day. For 28-day rentals, call or text (575) 215-2324 when you are done; billing stops the day you ask for pickup.

Can I keep the porta potty longer than planned?

Rentals can be extended at any time. Event units roll into a 28-day rental, and long-term units simply continue billing each 28 days with weekly service.

Do I get money back if I return a monthly unit early?

The 28-day cycle is billed in full and is not prorated. Calling for pickup before the next cycle starts stops the next charge.

Why is the 28-day billing cycle not a calendar month?

Service routes run weekly, so billing every 28 days lines up with four service visits. That keeps every cycle the same price, with no short or long months.

Events, weddings and parties

How many porta potties do I need for a wedding?

A wedding of 150 guests lasting five hours with a bar needs about 6 standard units, or a two-stall restroom trailer plus one standard unit. Use the sizing calculator for your own guest count.

What restrooms do people rent for weddings?

Most couples choose a restroom trailer or two or more deluxe flushing units with sinks. A row of clean standard units plus a handwashing station works for casual and budget weddings.

Do I need electricity and water for a restroom trailer?

A restroom trailer needs a standard outdoor outlet within about 50 feet and a garden hose connection. Venues without either can add a generator and a fresh-water tank.

Can I rent a porta potty for a backyard party or graduation?

Backyard parties, quinceañeras and graduations are common rentals. One standard unit covers about 50 guests for an afternoon, and a handwashing station is a good add-on when food is served.

Can I rent restrooms for a funeral or memorial?

Restrooms for funerals and memorials can be set up quickly, including same-day when the route allows. Call (575) 215-2324 and the dispatcher will check the fastest delivery time.

Construction and jobsites

How many porta potties does OSHA require on a construction site?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) requires 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers. Crews of 20 to 199 need 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. Crews of 200 or more need 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers.

Does OSHA require handwashing on a jobsite?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities near where workers handle harmful materials like paints, coatings or herbicides. Many contractors add a handwashing station or sink unit to every site for hygiene.

Can I get one porta potty for a small crew of three?

One standard unit with weekly service covers a small crew. The 28-day price is the same however few people use it.

Can you place porta potties on a crane or high-rise?

Towable trailer-mounted units can be moved around large sites. Ask the dispatcher about crane-lift units for multi-story work.

Do contractors get a single contact for several jobs?

Contractors with several sites deal directly with Mike's dispatch team, so one call can add, move or remove units across all your jobs.

Emergencies and special situations

My bathroom is out of order. Can you bring a porta potty today?

Homes and businesses with a broken toilet, sewer backup or water shut-off can get a porta potty the same day when a truck is available. A deluxe unit with a sink or a handwashing station helps if your water is off.

Can you supply restrooms for a water outage or evacuation?

Restrooms, handwashing stations and trailers can be supplied for utility outages, evacuation centers and emergency crews. Call (575) 215-2324; larger orders are scheduled the same day when units are available.

Can you deliver to Holloman Air Force Base?

Deliveries to Holloman AFB are made for contractors and approved events. The base requires vehicle access approval, so give the contracting office or sponsor's contact when you book and allow extra lead time.
